Phone numbers, WhatsApp, email addresses and both office addresses, plus what to include in a first message so the reply is useful.
Phone and email
The first number is answered by the trip planning team from 08:30 to 18:00, Monday to Saturday, Vietnam time, which is GMT+7. The second is the line carried by the duty guide and is answered at any hour by riders who are on the road with us.

WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach us and the one we prefer for anything urgent. Email is better for a first enquiry, because a route question deserves more than a phone answer.
Offices
Both offices are working offices rather than shopfronts. The Hanoi one has the workshop attached, and if you are in the city before a trip you are welcome to come and see the bike you will be riding.

What to put in a first message
Five things turn a vague first email into a useful reply. If your message has these, our answer will have dates, a route and a price rather than five questions back.
- Your dates, or at least the month. The month decides which half of the country we suggest.
- How many are riding, and whether anyone in the party is not riding. Party size is the biggest single factor in the price.
- The honest riding level of the slowest person. Not the strongest. The slowest rider sets what a trip can be.
- Bicycle or motorbike, and for motorbikes, a photograph of your licence and international permit. We check that before anything else.
- Any fixed constraint. A flight already booked, a wedding in Hoi An on the 12th, a knee that dislikes long descents.
Put you on a mailing list, send an automated sequence, or pass your details to anybody. You get a reply from a person, and then nothing further unless you write back.

The form below goes to the trip planning team and to our Lark workspace at the same time, so it does not sit in one person's inbox over a weekend. Five required fields, and everything else is optional.
Questions travellers ask most
Can I visit the workshop before I book?
Yes, and several riders a month do. The Hanoi office has the workshop attached and you can see the fleet, the spares and the vehicles.
Call or message first so somebody is there who can talk to you properly. Turning up unannounced gets you a look at the bikes and not much else.
Do you answer at night?
The emergency line, yes, at any hour, and it is answered by a duty guide rather than a service.
The planning line is 08:30 to 18:00 Vietnam time, Monday to Saturday. If you are in Europe or the Americas, email overnight and there will be a reply when you wake up.
Which office should I contact?
Hanoi for everything. The Ho Chi Minh City office handles logistics for the southern routes and does not do trip planning.
If you are already in Vietnam and in the south, the southern number will find somebody who can help with anything urgent.
Do you work with travel agents?
Yes, on net rates, for agents who have ridden with us or who send us a detailed brief. Write to the enquiries address with your agency details.
We do not pay commission to booking sites or to guesthouses that steer walk-ins, which is why you will not be recommended to us by a hostel in Hanoi.
